Join us in beautiful Orlando, Florida, for the 2026 Annual Conference of the Consortium of Hospital-Affiliated Colleges & Universities (CHACU), hosted by AdventHealth University. This three-day gathering brings together academic leaders, healthcare educators, administrators, clinicians, and mission-driven professionals from across the nation to strengthen partnerships, exchange innovative ideas, and reimagine the future of faith-based healthcare education.

The 2026 conference features dynamic plenary speakers, mission-centered devotionals, multiple breakout tracks, a poster session from the Call for Abstracts, and opportunities for meaningful collaboration across our network. Explore topics including academic innovation, clinical partnerships, student success and retention, accreditation and quality, spiritual life integration, and institutional leadership.

The event begins Wednesday evening with networking and a welcome dinner, followed by a full day of sessions on Thursday and a half-day program on Friday ending at noon. Attendees will have opportunities for fellowship, professional growth, and deep engagement around shared goals of advancing whole-person education and preparing the next generation of faith-driven healthcare leaders.

Join this live virtual training designed to equip nurse educators and professional continuing education team members with the skills and knowledge needed to develop quality evidence-based accredited continuing education (CE). This is the first course in our Excellence Among Continuing Education Providers Program series. In this session, we will dive into the essentials of the educational design process, including ANCC and Florida Board of Nursing standards, assessing the CE Value to Nursing Professional Development, and navigating the application and planning process. You will also gain practical strategies for creating engaging, evidence-based, and bias-free learning experiences—plus tips for overcoming common challenges in measuring outcomes and maintaining accreditation compliance.

This course is a prerequisite for nurse planners and nurse program coordinators with AdventHealth intending to credential their activities/events with ANCC (American Nursing Credentialing Center) or FLBON (Florida Board of Nursing) accreditation.

Our inaugural session will dive into the Management of Advanced Emergent Airways, bringing together top-tier expertise and immersive hands-on learning. We're raising the bar with dynamic lectures led by AdventHealth Daytona Beach's Anesthesiology and Respiratory Therapy teams, followed by high-impact simulation scenarios crafted by our elite Simulation Team.
