Event Objectives:
• Review the timeline of treatment development for pulmonary hypertension.
• Describe the clinical presentation and management of pulmonary hypertension in patients with sarcoidosis.
• Explain the current approach to managing pulmonary hypertension in the presence of hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia.
• Discuss evidence-based management considerations for pregnant patients with pulmonary hypertension.
• Apply shared decision-making principles in the management of patients with pulmonary hypertension.
• Analyze the role of balloon pulmonary angioplasty in chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension.
• Assess evaluation and management strategies for critically ill patients with pulmonary hypertension.
• Evaluate the role of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation in pulmonary hypertension.
