This event is an interactive didactic round table explores the evolving role of families in therapy services. Participants will discuss strategies for family-centered care, engaging caregivers as partners, and aligning therapy goals with family priorities. The session emphasizes peer learning, reflection, and practical approaches for OT, OTA, PT, and PTA professionals.
Event Objectives:
Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be able to:
- Describe traditional and emerging models of family involvement in pediatric therapy.
- Identify common barriers to parent-clinician collaboration and strategies to overcome them.
- Implement strategies to engage families as active partners in therapy.
- Aligning with family goals and routines to promote meaningful pediatric outcomes.
