This live seminar is designed for therapists and assistants who supervise OT/OTA students or who are interested in their future. This program consists of lecture, group discussion, videos, and hands-on workshops to address the course objectives. 

  1. Participants will understand the basics of Tai Chi & Qi Gong and its evolution as an evidence-based complementary therapy.
  2. Participants will be able to demonstrate fundamental Tai Chi body mechanics and movements and discuss therapeutic benefits relative to anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
  3. Participants will be able to apply Tai Chi in OT settings, including knowledge of supportive protocols and adaptive options for standing, seated and reclining applications.

Accreditation: This course has been approved for 4 hours of continuing education.
