The Multisystem: Shock course uses pertinent information from other courses to pull together and describe the results of decreased tissue perfusion resulting from dysfunction/failure of multiple body systems. You will become adept at identifying various types of shock, along with the clinical presentations and steps essential to achieve the best clinical outcome. In the following Multisystem Failure: Shock Class and Treatment course, you will be presented with an overview of shock, the five types of shock, and the causes, signs/symptoms, pathophysiology, and treatment associated with each type. Also presented is critical nursing care based on assessment findings and response to therapy.
