This GI course for presents a brief overview of the structures and function of the GI system as well as an assessment of the patient with GI disorders. Course content includes identifying abnormal findings of the GI tract and appropriate management of the critically ill patient. Also presented is the function of the accessory organs of the GI tract and normal nutrient metabolism.
