Brandy Durant, MSN, RN, CEN, NPD-BC, is an experienced nursing professional development specialist dedicated to advancing clinical excellence through evidence-based practice. With a diverse background spanning inpatient, emergency, and academic settings, she brings a well-rounded perspective to nursing education and continuing professional development.
During her tenure at AdventHealth, Brandy has led key initiatives in competency development, in-situ simulation, and training program management. She is recognized for her interprofessional collaboration, innovative educational design, and commitment to regulatory and accreditation standards. Brandy is dedicated to supporting various healthcare professions to practice at the top of their license.
In addition to her NPD and leadership roles, Brandy has served as a clinical adjunct, supporting the development of future nurses through academic-practice partnerships. She is passionate about creating engaging, high-quality learning experiences that prepare healthcare professionals to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

Alisha Edwards, MDiv, ACPE Certified Educator Candidate
Alisha is a Ministry Education Specialist at AdventHealth Orlando CPE System Center within the Department of Ministry Education & Research. Prior to her call to ministry, Alisha worked in online content marketing. She received a BA in Mass Communication: Advertising from the University of South Florida, and an MDiv. with specialization in Pastoral Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary. She began her ministry in chaplaincy at a Level I Trauma & Regional Burn Center in Tampa, Florida—focused on trauma and crisis intervention, oncology, acute elderly care, pediatric care, and palliative care.

Theresa E. Hood, M.Div., BCC
Terry is a Board-Certified Chaplain and Education Specialist/adjunct faculty member for Clinical Pastoral Education at AdventHealth Orlando, FL. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Divinity Degree from Reformed Theological Seminary. She became a Board-Certified Chaplain in May 2006. She has also completed the Specialty Certificate Program for Palliative Care Chaplaincy in 2015. In addition to healthcare chaplaincy, Terry is an ordained minister in the Congregational Church, United Church of Christ and has served as pastor for The First United Church of Christ in Orlando and The First Congregational Church of Plainfield, CT. In her previous career, she was a certified financial planner. She has lived and worked in Connecticut, Rhode Island, North Carolina, and Florida.

Gustavo Mujica, M.Div.
Gustavo Mujica is passionate about helping others to connect with their meaning, purpose, and hopes. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biblical Pastoral Theology in Antillean University in Puerto Rico. Later, he worked as a hospice chaplain while he continued discovering God’s invitation to practice “the ministry of presence”.
Gustavo earned his Master of Divinity in 2019 from Andrews University, MI. Early 2020 he started as a staff Chaplain at AdventHealth Orlando. After two years, he received an invitation to lead an amazing team of chaplains for AdventHealth East Orlando where he currently works. Gustavo strongly believes in collaborating with other disciplines in the hospital to provide excellent care to the whole person with uncommon compassion.
When Gustavo is not working at the hospital or in meetings, you can find him barbecuing with his friends & neighbors, doing yard work with his wife Brenda, playing with his English Bulldog “Mía”, or relaxing by the beach (his favorite escape place).
