Compassion Fatigue

Price: $8.00
Nursing CE: 1.00   Imaging CE: 1.25
This course is accessible until 6/1/2028
This course is also available in one or more course bundles.

Burnout, secondary traumatic stress, and compassion fatigue - three similar concepts. Burnout, secondary traumatic stress, and compassion fatigue all have one common denominator, You. You experience the effects. This course will focus on compassion fatigue; this course will focus on You, the caring compassionate individual.

What is compassion fatigue? Who experiences compassion fatigue? And why? Why as caregivers in our own experiences are we the last to acknowledge what we are experiencing? Our purpose is to assist You in understanding why You are at risk, then identify the symptoms of compassion fatigue within yourself, and offer a few self-care techniques to help manage. Compassion fatigue drains our auxiliary battery - so how can we recharge?

In this 60-minute course, we will uncover the phenomenon called "Compassion Fatigue" and how it relates to you. Therefore, we deliver this first-person and speak to You, the individual healthcare provider, in the understanding of compassion fatigue and how You may be at risk.
