Qualified Planners/Faculty
Hanniel Dossous, BSN, RN
Hanniel is a graduate student in the Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia program at AdventHealth University. He completed his undergraduate studies at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minor in music performance. During this time, he was involved in Habitat for Humanity, participating in service trips to Georgia and Louisiana. After working on a telemetry/med-surg unit as a new graduate nurse, he started to work in the neurosurgical ICU setting, both positions at Capital Health in central New Jersey. This is where he found a passion in his work, especially during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and wanted to pursue an advanced degree in nurse anesthesia. In the neuro ICU, he joined a committee that improved quality in the hospital setting, served as a charge nurse, and precepted new hires. While obtaining this experience, he earned an additional role working in the cardiothoracic ICU at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ. He joined a new nurse committee to empower new hires and served as a preceptor there. After getting accepted into AdventHealth University’s nurse anesthesia program, he continued to work these two roles in preparation for the rigorous studies of the program.

Nuru Mikhail Jones Davis, BSN, RN
Nuru is pursuing his doctorate in the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist program at AdventHealth University. Originating from the Commonwealth of Dominica in the eastern Caribbean Sea, Davis and his family moved to Miami, Florida, in 2004. Davis later earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. Upon completion, Davis began his nursing career at AdventHealth Orlando Hospital in the vascular thoracic intensive care unit. During this time, Davis ascertained his Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification and became liver-certified, taking care of some of the unit's most acute patients.
During 2020, with the rise of the COVID-19 virus, Davis worked during the pandemic by traveling the country as an ICU travel nurse. Davis interacted with diverse patient populations, health systems, electronic medical record systems, care units, and unique institutional hierarchies. His roles have included rapid response, charge nurse, and preceptor, and have varied from inpatient to ambulatory services in the ED. While facing the challenges of constantly adapting to a new setting, Davis prepped for application to graduate school and decided on Nurse Anesthesia as the natural evolution of his career.

Breanna Sreter, BSN, RN
Breanna is a student registered nurse anesthetist at AdventHealth University in Orlando, FL. She obtained her Bachelor of Nursing from Becker College in Worcester, MA, graduating with honors and a minor in holistic health and wellness. Breanna started her nursing career in the progressive care unit at AdventHealth Winter Park, where she focused on stroke recognition and recovery. She also became certified as a National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) nurse. After 9 months in this high acuity neuro-PCU, she moved to AdventHealth Orlando to work in the Advanced Cardiac Surgical Unit (ACSU), specializing in caring for patients undergoing open-heart surgery and ECMO therapy. During her time at ACSU, Breanna led unit initiatives and served as co-chair of the Nurse Governance Council. Her efforts were recognized by the Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ELSO), leading to the unit being elevated to a platinum-recognized ECMO program, the highest recognition with ELSO. She also worked on ACSU throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, where ECMO was recognized by many as the only lifesaving support capable of preventing mortality in severely ill Covid-19 patients. Breanna has held various roles on ACSU, including junior ECMO specialist, charge nurse, and recovery nurse. Her passion for cardiac surgery has inspired her to pursue her ultimate dream of working in cardiac surgery as an anesthesia provider. Her experience in managing critical patients with hemodynamic instability will guide her continued research in managing intraoperative MI to improve outcomes for patients suffering myocardial infarction during surgery.
