Revisioning Author: Janelle L Cooney, DNP, RN, CCRN
Dr. Cooney is the ANCC Accredited Provider Program Director (APPD) for Professional Nursing Development and Continuing Education at AdventHealth University Division echelon©. With over 30 years of nursing experience, she has built a distinguished career in pediatric critical care nursing, leadership, and nursing education. Her expertise spans a broad range of roles, including her recent position as Manager of Nursing Professional Development at AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach (FL), where she served for five years. In this capacity, she contributed to the growth and development of nursing education programs while also co-directing the Pathways to Excellence program. Her clinical leadership experience includes a decade of service as the Assistant Nurse Manager at the AdventHealth for Children- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), where she played a pivotal role in managing critical care for pediatric patients.
Additionally, Dr. Cooney has served as an adjunct professor at ECPI, teaching associate degree in nursing (ADN) courses in Pediatrics and facilitating clinical simulations to enhance the practical skills of future nurses.
A dedicated and engaged nursing professional, Dr. Cooney is an active member of several professional organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau International, the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD), and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN). Her deep commitment to nursing education, professional development, and quality patient care continues to drive her passion for advancing the nursing profession.

P. Gage Gwyn, Ph.D., APRN-BC, CNS, OCN, FCN
Priscilla "Gage" Gwyn is an adult oncology nurse practitioner at the Ambulatory Infusion Center at AdventHealth in Greater Orlando (formerly Florida Hospital). Dr. Gwyn received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the SUNY Brockport College of Nursing in New York and her Master of Science in nursing with Adult Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist certificates from Duke University College of Nursing in Durham, North Carolina. She then received her PhD in Nursing from the Barry University, Division of Nursing, in Miami Shores, Florida. She has lectured on the care of patients with hematologic malignancies and has initiated, coordinated, and facilitated monthly support groups at several practice locations in Florida. She is nationally published and is a current member of the Oncology Nursing Society, Society of NeuroOncology, and Greater Orlando Hematology Oncology Physician Extenders.

Revisioning Author: M. Julie Talmadge, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, APPD
Dr. Talmadge is a family nurse practitioner with over 18 years of experience as a nurse practitioner. Her most recent clinical experience was in acute care working with a surgical residency program in Orlando, Florida. In 2013 she was awarded her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida in Gainesville. She currently is the Accredited Provider Program Director with echelon, Continuing Education and Professional Development, a Division of AdventHealth University. Dr. Talmadge is a member of the Central Florida Advanced Nursing Practice Council. She served on the Florida Board of Nursing, as appointed by the Governor (term 2018 - 2021). She has been adjunct faculty at the University of Central Florida and has precepted graduate nurse practitioner students.
