Michael Davis, RN, BSN, SRNA
Michael is a graduate student in the Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Practice program at AdventHealth University. Prior to acceptance to the DNAP program he worked as a registered nurse (RN) for over 4 years with 2 years of experience working in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) and 1 year working as a critical care travel nurse in various COVID ICUs throughout southern Florida. During his training in the CVICU, he acquired his Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification. He also went on to earn his Cardiac Surgery Certification (CSC) shortly after due to his profound passion for continuing his education in cardiovascular nursing. While working in the CVICU Michael frequently cared for patients who required a vigilant and proactive mindset including patients on ECMO, LVAD, Centrimag, total artificial heart, tandem pump, Impella, CRRT, and more. After leaving the CVICU he went on to travel during the height of the pandemic in 2020 and cared for critically ill COVID ICU patients exclusively. He received his Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from Valencia College in 2017, and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from UCF in 2020.

Angelina Gallagher, RN, BSN, SRNA
Angelina is a graduate student in the Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Practice program at AdventHealth University. Prior to acceptance to the DNAP program she worked as a Registered Nurse for over five years, with more than three years spent in the Intensive Care and Cardiovascular Intensive Care units within the AdventHealth system and as a traveling critical care nurse in Central Florida. While attending nursing school, she gained experience in the healthcare field as a Patient Care Technician on various units within the acute care setting. She received her Associate of Arts degree while gaining her Associate of Science in Nursing Degree from Daytona State College in 2015 as the youngest student in the graduating class. She later returned to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing by early 2018, while maintaining her place on the Dean’s List with a 4.0 GPA. During this time, Angelina represented various nursing units on Shared Governance, Professional Practice, and Vascular councils within the AdventHealth system. Concurrently, she was invited to join the Clinical Ladder program and precept nursing students, new nurses, and nurses new to the Florida Hospital/AdventHealth system throughout her career. Angelina became one of the youngest nurses in her facility to be credentialed as a Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse and assisted the Education department in teaching various topics to the staff members over the years.

Arun Joseph, RN, BSN, SRNA
Arun went to undergraduate school at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and was on the Dean’s List, an honorary mention for students obtaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher. After graduating in 2017, he worked as a MedSurg and Tele RN at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, IL, and won a Daisy Award, recommended by his nursing colleagues. After a year, he transitioned to Surgical Cardiac ICU at Advocate Christ Medical Center where he had practice taking care of patients from post-operative ECMO, LVAD/BiVAD insertions, fresh CABG and Valve Replacements, Heart/Lung transplants, Double organ transplants, trauma, and experience in running ACLS codes. He was recognized as the nurse of the month for catching one of his patients having an acute stroke, which lead to the patient being treated within the appropriate timeframe and receiving immediate treatment. After three years of experience, he spent a year as a travel ICU RN during COVID, traveling to states like Texas and Arizona during the peak of infection, and had practice managing ventilators and taking care of ailing patients. In 2021, Arun became a Student Registered Nurse Anesthetist at AdventHealth University in Orlando, Florida, and enjoys learning the different anesthetic management and techniques taught in one of the world’s largest medical centers.
