Price: $15.00

This course is accessible until 4/1/2025

This course was designed to introduce the utilization of the anesthesia workstation as an alternative source to the present-day intensive care ventilator. In this course we will briefly overview mechanical ventilation as it pertains to an individual requiring respiratory support and its key components. Then we will shift our focus to identifying the anesthesia workstation components and operation, covering such topics as pressure systems, disposal systems, location, safety concerns, and patient airway parameters. We will also discuss the monitoring of the anesthesia workstation mechanisms and maintenance, as well as present a checklist when utilizing the anesthesia workstation as a substitute for the traditional intensive care ventilator.
