Amanda D. Raffenaud, MS-HSA

Amanda Raffenaud has been teaching health administration courses for over 10 years and thoroughly enjoys connecting with students in the classroom. She is passionate about assisting students with the knowledge and skills they need to progress within their health administration career. Amanda joined the faculty at Adventist University of Health Sciences in 2016, after previously teaching at the University of Central Florida.

Amanda Raffenaud graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s in Health Services Administration and went on to receive a Master’s in Health Services Administration in 2006. As a graduate student, Amanda assisted non-profit organizations with the development of organizational infrastructure, including strategic planning.

Amanda is also a PhD candidate, having completed both course work and comprehensive exams for her degree in Public Affairs. She is currently working on her dissertation and conducting research as it relates to healthy work environments in the health care field. She has published articles in the Journal of Healthcare Management, Health Care Management Science, and the Health Informatics Journal. She has also contributed to multiple textbooks related to the health administration field. Amanda has also presented at local and national conferences on her various research topics.

As an academician, Amanda is dedicated to advancing the health administration field through research contributions as well as equipping students and future leaders.
