Those of us involved in teaching Polycom courses have learned slowly and sometimes painfully and we are willing to share.

This course reports to CE Broker
  1. Describe the beginning of the journey, the triumphs and the failures.
  2. Identify the different approaches to Polycom teaching that are used now.
  3. Define our hopes for future experiences in broadcast teaching.

Karen Austin, DA

Dr. Karen Austin received her undergraduate degree from Southern College of SDA (now called Southern Adventist University). She later received her master’s degree from Loma Linda University, and received her doctor of arts degree from Idaho State University.

Here at Adventist University of Health Sciences, Dr. Austin teaches Anatomy and Physiology I Lecture and lab, Anatomy and Physiology II lecture and lab, Concepts of Pathophysiology, and Gross Musculoskeletal Anatomy for the Occupational Therapist.
