On-Line Volunteer Orientation - Central Florida
Hours: 2.00

Welcome to the AdventHealth online volunteer orientation course! Completing this online orientation course is the next step to becoming an AdventHealth Volunteer.

We have volunteers that have been with us for years, and some that stay with us for shorter periods of time. A lot goes into onboarding as a volunteer, and we want to make sure your efforts and ours are worth the time. We welcome all volunteers; however, we do expect volunteers to commit to a minimum period of six (6) months, and a minimum of one 4-hour shift per week. If this sounds like a good fit for you, we invite you to continue on with this orientation course.

This online course was designed to give you an understanding of the patient experience and how AdventHealth standards, healthcare regulations, and guidelines play an important role in volunteering. We will be covering information such as our mission and the accountabilities of a volunteer such as behavior, dress code, and keeping our patients safe while volunteering with AdventHealth.

Upon completion of each section, you will complete a brief quiz. Once everything is completed, please reach out to us to set up a time for an interview. Now please sit back and enjoy the information we have prepared for you.

NOTE: AdventHealth Volunteers Department has written permission to view and show these videos to future Volunteers. This is proprietary information and may not be shared or duplicated without owner's consent.
