Many of us have heard the term "human trafficking". Many think of human trafficking as sex trafficking or prostitution. Some of us may think that human trafficking exists outside of the United States and mostly in third world countries. So, what is human trafficking? Who are the victims? Who are the traffickers? Why are people trafficked? What health-related issues do victims of human trafficking present with? Where and how do victims get healthcare?
