Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to
1. identify the role of circulating blood in meeting cellular needs and maintaining homeostasis,
2. describe the normal structure and function of the cardiovascular system,
3. analyze the relationship between autonomic nervous system response and cardiovascular function,
4. list the factors that affect cardiac output and explain its impact on body perfusion, and
5. describe the impact of medications on the autonomic nervous system.
