Browser Checker

This program checks if your computer has the software needed to run echelon's multimedia courses. The requirements are listed below. If you need to download or upgrade a software program, the Browser Checker Results page will provide links to Web sites where you can download the programs you need.

Note:The technical requirements for the echelon Resource Center are broader than those required to take a course. Visit Resource Center Technical Requirements for a list of Resource Center plug-ins.

Technical Requirements

In order to view echelon courses, you will need the following.

INTERNET CONNECTION
echelon courses are designed with both audio and video components, and require high-speed Internet access such as cable modem or DSL. Accessing an echelon course using a dial-up modem is not recommended.

BROWSER
Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher

MEDIA PLAYER
Macromedia Flash Player 7 or higher

PC
Windows Vista, XP or 98
Sound card and speakers
Screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768
